RE: SOBOR INFORMATION AND CERTIFICATION FORMS

I write to inform you that plans and arrangements for the 20^th REGULAR SOBOR of our Church are well underway. The SOBOR will be preceded by Council of Metropolia meeting on 15 October 2013 and a one day Clergy Conference on 16 October 2013. Registration of Delegates, Alternates and Guests will begin on Wednesday evening, 16 October. The SOBOR will begin on Thursday, 17 October with Divine Liturgy at 7 am in St. Andrew Memorial Church, with the opening session to follow breakfast. You will receive the SOBOR Agenda very shortly in the current issue of the Ukrainian Orthodox Word. It will also be mailed to all delegates registered by 15 September.

Included in this packet are:

1. SOBOR information regarding who can attend, selection of delegates, registration with deadlines, and information regarding our SOBOR hotel – the Holiday Inn on Davidson Avenue – with reservation deadlines.

2. Registration and Certification Forms:

   2. Clergy Certification

 Subsequent mailings will follow with necessary information about the SOBOR. Updated information will also be published in the Ukrainian Orthodox Word and on our www.uocofusa.org website.

 Please remember when registering to send in the Certification form as well as the required payment in full. Forms and fees must be received in the Consistory office by 15 September 2013.

 All the members of the Pre-Sobor Commission, the Consistory and Consistory staff look forward to seeing all our registered guests for SOBOR 20! May God bless you all as you prepare for this opportunity to gather once again with brothers and sisters in Christ to discuss extremely important matters in the life of our Holy Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA.
