This year, as Ukrainian Americans gather to honor the legacy of Saint Nicholas, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA (UOC of USA) embodies his spirit through their unwavering support for the suffering people of Ukraine.

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Antony, the UOC of USA has provided critical humanitarian aid to Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region, an area devastated by the ongoing Russian invasion. In the city of Bakhmut and surrounding villages, where war has displaced thousands of families, the Church's aid offers both material relief and spiritual hope.

Through the prayerful assistance of clergy, including Very Rev. Fr. Kostyantyn Kuznetsov tasked with coordinating these efforts, logistical support has reached the most vulnerable.
