Your Eminence,

It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that I address you on behalf of myself, clergy and the faithful entrusted to our spiritual care, offering our deepest condolences upon the repose of your beloved brother, the newly-departed servant of God, David.

The bond of brotherhood is one of the most precious gifts given to us by our Creator. It reminds us of the true essence of family, which is rooted in love, support, and shared memories. Your loss touches all of us deeply, as it is not only a loss for your family but also for our greater spiritual family in Christ.

The departure of a loved one is a solemn reminder of the fragility of life and the eternal hope we hold in our Lord’s promise of resurrection. In moments like these, we find solace in the unbreakable unity of Christ’s Church - a family bound not by earthly ties, but by faith and love in our Risen Lord. We stand with you in prayer, embracing you and your immediate family with the love and compassion of the entire Body of Christ.

May the Lord, the source of all comfort, grant rest to the soul of His servant David in a place of light, peace, and refreshment, where there is no pain, sorrow, or sighing, but life everlasting. And may He strengthen and uphold you, Your Eminence, as well as all who grieve his loss, with the hope of reunion in the Kingdom of Heaven.

As we commend the soul of the newly-departed David to our loving and merciful God, I offer the words of our holy tradition: "With the saints, O Christ, grant rest to the soul of Your servant, where there is no pain, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life everlasting."

May his memory be eternal!

З глибокою скорботою і сердечним співчуттям звертаюся до Вас від себе та від імені духовенства тавірних, довірених нашій духовній опіці, висловлюючи наші найглибші співчуття з приводу упокоєння Вашого улюбленого брата, новопреставленого слуги Божого Давида.

Братські стосунки є одним із найцінніших дарів, які дав нам наш Творець. Це нагадує нам про справжню сутність сім’ї, яка ґрунтується на любові, підтримці та спільних спогадах. Ваша втрата глибоко зворушує всіх нас, оскільки це втрата не лише для вашої родини, але й для нашої більшої духовної родини у Христі.

Відхід любимої людини являється усвідомленням про крихкість життя та вічну надію, яку ми маємо на обіцянку нашого Господа щодо воскресіння. У такі моменти ми знаходимо розраду в непорушній єдності Христової Церкви – сім’ї, пов’язаної не земними узами, а вірою та любов’ю до нашого Воскреслого Господа. Ми стоїмо з вами в молитві, обіймаючи вас і вашу найближчу родину любов’ю і співчуттям усього Тіла Христового.

Нехай Господь, Джерело всякої втіхи, дарує спокій душі Свого слуги Давида в місці світла та миру, де немає ні болю, ні смутку, ні зітхання, але є життя вічне. І нехай Він зміцнить і підтримає Вас, Ваше Високопреосвященство, а також усіх, хто оплакує його втрату, надією на возз’єднання в Царстві Небесному.

Віддаючи душу новопреставленого Давида нашому люблячому і милосердному Богові, приношу слова нашого святого літургійного служіння: «Зі святими, Христе, упокой душу раба Твого, де немає болю, ні смутку, ні зітхання, але життя вічне».

Вічна йому пам'ять!
