Due to a daily cooperation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine - Pascha – the Bright Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord is becoming a beam of light and hope for the residents of the destroyed towns of Irpin, Bucha, Vorzel, Markarov, Hostomel and Mariupol.

With the blessing of both spiritual fathers of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA – Metropolitan Epifaniy (OCU) and Metropolitan Antony (UOC of the USA), over 11,000 Paschal baskets and traditional food items were blessed by His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy in Kyiv and His Eminence Metropolitan Serhiy of Donetsk in Dnipro, Ukraine.

In the most recent past, the Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine personally traveled to the devasted areas of the above-mentioned cities and towns to provide spiritual and moral support for the residents and survivors of the barbaric attack of Russian Federation on Ukraine.

Seeing the images from the visit and understanding the need for the charitable, moral and spiritual support, the UOC of the USA (due to the generosity of the clergy, faithful and friends of the Church) partnered with hierarchs, clergy and faithful of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to offer the most necessary charitable humanitarian aid to the devasted areas.

Archbishop Daniel, working closely with the office of the Metropolitan of the OCU, continues to oversee the distribution of charitable funds collected by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA. Out of $1,7 million collected by the national UOC of the USA – financial and humanitarian charitable aid has been delivered to the military hospitals; 10-15 medical ambulances delivered and others ordered, families of the fallen soldiers, devasted medical institutions (caring for the cancer patients, especially children), people that lost their homes and forced to relocate, refugees in the Eastern part of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Mariupol, Dnipro and other parts of Ukraine.

Завдяки щоденній співпраці Української Православної Церкви США та Православної Церкви України – Пасха – світле свято Воскресіння Господнього стає променем світла та надії для жителів зруйнованих міст Ірпіня, Бучі , Ворзель, Маркарова, Гостомеля та Маріуполя.

З благословення обох духовних отців Православної Церкви України та Української Православної Церкви США – митрополита Епіфанія (ПЦУ) та митрополита Антонія (УПЦ США) понад 11 тисяч пасхальних кошиків та традиційних страв були посвячені Блаженнішим Митрополитом Епіфанієм у Києві та Високопреосвященним Митрополитом Донецьким Сергієм у Дніпрі, Україна.

Кілька днів тому Предстоятель Православної Церкви України особисто їздив по спустошених районах вищезгаданих міст і селищ, щоб надати духовну та моральну підтримку жителям та вцілілим після варварського нападу Російської Федерації на Україну.

Побачивши світлини з візиту та розуміючи необхідність благодійної, моральної та духовної підтримки, УПЦ США ​​(завдяки щедрості духовенства, вірних та друзів Церкви) розпочала співпрацю з ієрархами, духовенством та вірними Православної Церкви України, надаючи найнеобхіднішу благодійну гуманітарну допомогу зруйнованим територіям.

Архієпископ Даниїл, тісно співпрацюючи з офісом Митрополита ПЦУ, продовжує координацію розподілу благодійних коштів, зібраних Українською Православною Церквою США. Із 1,7 мільйонів доларів, зібраних національною УПЦ США (окрім постійних благодійних намагання місцевих парафій Церкви), фінансову та гуманітарну благодійну допомогу доствлено до військових госпіталів; 10-15 карет швидкої допомоги куплено та замовлено; надана допомога родинам загиблих воїнів; зруйнованим медичним закладам (де проводиться догляд за онкохворими, особливо дітьми); допомога надана людям, які втратили житло та змушені переселитися; біженцям на сході України: в Харкові, Миколаєві, Маріуполі, Дніпрі та інші куточках України.
