Archpastoral Visit to Sts Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Johnstown, PA

On Sunday July 21st His Grace Bishop Daniel paid an Archpastoral visit to Sts. Peter and Paul’s Church in Johnstown PA. His Grace was greeted at the church by the president Richard Youchak and the parish priest Rev. Mark Phillips with the traditional gifts of bread, salt, and flowers. After celebrating a Moleben to the Birth-Giver of God, His Grace visited with the members of the parish and shared light refreshments and fellowship.

During his sermon Bishop Daniel spoke of his personal journey to the Orthodox Faith and encouraged others to strengthen their faith. During the post service fellowship His Grace spoke of the many upcoming mission trips both in the USA and the ancestral homeland Ukraine.

May God grant His Grace many blessed years and many more return trips to Johnstown PA.
